Guess the constellation — win an envelope of postcards!

This month, our newly launched virtual exhibition Postcard Constellation is keeping a secret.

In the Constellations view, twenty of our postcard warriors and Ukrainian friends shine together as one figure in the night sky — but the figure has no name. One hidden thread connects every one of those stars. Can you work out what it is?

Visit the exhibition, wander the sky, and click any star to meet its writer. The clues are all there in their stories.

How to enter

• Open the exhibition and switch to the Constellations view.
• Look at who is up there, and decide what they all have in common.
• Press “Send your guess” on the mystery card and type your answer — or simply email it to deldal@gmail.com.
• Entries close on 20 August 2026.

Everyone with the right answer goes into a draw to win an envelope full of postcards from Linda’s collection — perfect for writing your own messages to Ukraine’s Defenders or for your personal projects.

What happens after the 20th

Guesses close on 20 August every two months. In the weeks that follow, while the team is at work on the next issue of the newsletter, we post the answer here on the website, draw a winner from among the correct entries, and notify them by email.

The winner is announced publicly as well — in that newly published newsletter issue and here on the website — under whatever name they would like to be known by. Your own name, a nickname, or simply “anonymous,” if you would rather not be named. The choice is entirely yours, and we will ask before anything is published.

Then, with the release of the newest newsletter, a fresh constellation goes up in the sky, and the guessing begins again.
