During Ukrainian Heritage Month, postcard warriors created postcards for Defenders of Ukraine, culminating in World Postcard Day and Defenders Day, both celebrated October 1st. This initiative fostered creativity, connection, and gratitude through postcard art on paper bridges.

Canada’s official maple leaf flag was adopted in 1965 after years of debate. As autumn arrives, today’s postcard art challenge encourages postcard warriors to create maple leaf designs.

Since April 2023, over 55,000 postcards have been sent worldwide to support Defenders of Ukraine. During Ukrainian Heritage Month we encourage additional creativity, challenging postcard warriors to create one postcard daily in September. Today’s postcard art conveys the idea of human-to-human connection through personal messages and artwork.
