Our veteran friend Marcus, in Arizona, is celebrating his 1,000th card written and sent to Ukraine’s Defenders. We wrote about his goal, and methods, in our February 2025 newsletter, here. To celebrate this amazing milestone, Marcus has issued a challenge to you.
The first postcard warrior to send 200 postcards by July 4th will win a box of postcards. The kind of beautiful box with a series of cards, like birds, books, comic characters, space themes, etc.
Marcus has used this quote from Dr. Martin Luther King on some of his postcards to Defenders:
Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness can not drive out darkness, only light can do that.
Please continue to do the good work that your cards do: offer light in the darkness.
Need cards? Write to us at postcardstothefront.canada@gmail.com, and we’ll send you postcards to write to Defenders. FREE!
