Russia Embassy Protestors – Ottawa, Ontario

Protesters with Ukrainian flags outside an embassy fence; a chalk trident and sunflowers cover the pavement

In our October newsletter, we wrote about the Russia Embassy (Ottawa) protesters who have stood outside the embassy, every day since March 04, 2022, to protest Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.

The protesters have written a few hundred postcard messages of support to Ukraine’s Defenders, most of their own design, such as their signature Freedom Bike card. Their latest batch should soon arrive at the front lines.

They most certainly maintain a sense of humour and a sense of irony in their protests, as seen in these two images.

Thank you all who continue to demonstrate daily at the Russian Embassy, as well as for your many heartfelt messages of support and care to Ukraine’s Defenders!
