Postcard warriors at St. John’s, Oshawa

Two women hold up handmade postcards showing sunflowers, tridents, a dog and the word УКРАЇНА

We received a second invitation from St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Oshawa, Ontario, to bring postcards for parishioners to write to Defenders. That was our Ukraine Independence Day project.

What a wonderfully supportive group made up of people of all ages, from the very young to the Babas. Some wrote in English, but most wrote in Ukrainian, including newcomers to Canada. A few expressed their gratitude for our efforts, in their tears. Hugs all around. Thank you all for your love and support! Дякую!

Your turn
