Michel in Ottawa has formed friendships with Ukrainians arriving through the CUAET program following Russia’s invasion. Inspired by events and social media, he and friends created their own postcards to write to Ukraine’s Defenders. Their grassroots initiative highlights the solidarity we so often amongst Canadians with Ukrainians.

Russia Embassy Protestors – Ottawa, Ontario
In our October newsletter, we highlighted the daily protests outside the Russian Embassy in Ottawa since March 4, 2022, against Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. Protesters have created postcards of support for Ukraine’s defenders, showcasing humor and irony in their efforts. Their messages will soon reach the front lines.
