A warm reception, on a very hot June day, greeted us in Campbellford, Ontario, where we shared about Postcards to the Front with the membership of Trent Hills PROBUS. The welcoming PROBUS members wrote dozens of heartwarming postcard messages to Ukraine’s Defenders. Some were written soldier (veteran) to soldier. One wrote, “if I were younger, I’d join you!”

The goal of the PROBUS organization is to provide fellowship, friendship, and fun for individuals in their retirement and semi-retirement years. PROBUS is a volunteer-based, non-profit, non-political, non-sectarian fellowship organization with over 4,000 clubs worldwide, some 250 being Canadian clubs made up of over 35,000 members.
