Michelle and her colleagues view postcard-writing to Ukraine’s Defenders as “solidarity across borders … We’re on our 10th week of striking … not just for fair wages but for dignity, survival, and global solidarity. Inflation has made it nearly impossible to live in the province we serve, and we’re demanding better. As part of our action, we’re writing postcards to soldiers on the front lines in Ukraine because frontline workers everywhere deserve support, recognition, and hope. From British Columbia to Kyiv, we stand together!”
