Postcards That Carry Courage: A Special Zoom Event
Saturday, December 20, 2025 9:00 AM Pacific | 12:00 Noon Eastern Duration: Approximately 1 hour

You’re warmly invited to join a virtual gathering with Helen and Jean-Michel, founders of Postcards to the Front Canada — the organization that, since spring 2023, has sent nearly 16,000 postcard messages of support to Ukrainian Defenders. Combined with their sister branch in Australia, nearly 40,000 messages of support have reached the front lines.
What to Expect
Learn directly from Helen and Jean-Michel about:

- The remarkable journey postcards take — 8,000+ kilometres from Canada to Ukraine’s front lines
- Tips for writing meaningful, heartfelt messages
- How even a single phrase in Ukrainian honours a Defender’s culture
- What postcard warriors get out of participating in this living system of care
- Stories of impact—postcards kept in uniform pockets, displayed in “galleries of love,” and reread during moments of isolation
The session will feature images and video clips directly from the front lines.
Whether you’ve written dozens of cards or have never sent one, this workshop will inspire and equip you to participate in this remarkable and meaningful caring work.
