Ukrainian families in Oshawa, Ontario observed the practice of blessing Easter food on Holy Saturday (April 19, 2025). Father Bohdan Bilinsky and Father Dmytro Hancharyk blessed more than a hundred baskets brought to St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Parish Hall. The Fathers reminded the parishioners of the sacrifices made by Ukrainian Defenders and encouraged all to write postcards to express our support.

Postcards to the Front members Stefa, Jeannie and Zenia were on hand to help people with their postcard writing. The children were the most enthusiastic writers! Especially decorating their postcards with stickers. Over 100 postcards are on their way to the front lines in Ukraine! Thank you, Zenia for organizing, for your report, and for the photos.
