Some readers may recall that the Winnipeg Jets national hockey league team held a Ukrainian heritage night for their game in January against the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. We wrote about the logo, specially designed for that night by Ukrainian-born Andrii Sobchuk here.

Of course, we had to get t-shirts for Tamara and Dima, at home base in Ukraine.

In her Winnipeg Jets t-shirt, Tamara displays cards written by children who attend one of the Toronto-area Shkilna Rada, Ukrainian heritage schools.

Dima has added to his fashion ensemble the scarf that we brought back for him from Cambodia. If you look closely, you will see in his hand a photo of him carrying boxes of postcards for Tamara.
