Oshawa ODUM sponsored the 2024 Ukrainian Canadian Youth Association ODUM gathering over the long Labour Day weekend. Youth and young adults from Canada and the United States (Chicago, Detroit, Pennsylvania) attended a variety of events. Postcards to the Front was invited to spend a couple of days at the picnic held at the Hungarian Picnic Grounds in Clarington, Ontario. Visitors of all ages wrote messages of support to Ukraine’s Defenders. Most in the Ukrainian language. Lots of love on the way to the front lines!

And yes! We sure got to eat some delicious borscht!
