How wonderful that our local community newspaper has featured Postcards to the Front (Canada / Канада) in today’s issue! Thank you Karen at Millbrook Times! Read on … Local Resident Spearheading Simple Canadian Gesture of Support for Ukraine – The Millbrook Times.

Adding to today’s excitement is … wait for it … drum roll … OUR FIRST batches of cards arrived in Ukraine today, traveling just under four weeks. A credit to postal workers in Canada and in Ukraine!

    Your postal workers are much more efficient than ours Helen. It takes ours between 4 to 8 weeks to get them there. I know ours have a longer distance to travel but even so!!!

      Maybe my mail carrier has special “pull” as her dedication to the mail is outstanding? Actually, I’m guessing it’s a matter of easier logistics.

      Thanks! The people in the village of Millbrook have welcomed a number of Ukrainian refugee families, and so there is great interest in support for Ukraine.
