Once again, we met with Polish high school students visiting Canada on a Polish Academy of Canada (PAC) leadership Canada Study Tour. We’ve been meeting with PAC students for many years, and it’s always a pleasure to conduct our workshops about Canadian history and culture. For the second time, we included a citizenship workshop which included student participation in a discussion of the global impacts of the war on Ukraine. The students then wrote messages of support to Defenders; often, in three languages! English, Polish and Ukrainian, plus some cards were written in some German.

We are grateful that Boston Pizza in Oshawa, Ontario, has been so accommodating to our group visits over the years!
