A few people have asked us, “Where can I buy postcards and/or postal supplies that support Ukrainian artists, businesses and charities?”
Below are some options that we know of. We’ve had no difficulty placing or receiving orders, and quality has been good. Just be patient. Your order can take up to four weeks to arrive. If you have suggestions for us to explore, send us a note: PostcardstotheFront.Canada@gmail.com.

At Postal Ukraine you can find “authentic quality products from Ukraine – postcards, stickers, envelopes, calendars, as well as beautiful Ukrainian postage stamps.” We especially like their postcard sets, such as “Warmth of Women’s Hands” and the “We are approaching VICTORY together!” charity set, designed by 15-year-old Ukrainian artist from Sumy, Oleksandra Duka. Oleksandra invested the money her parents gave her for her birthday to print her own postcards in order to raise funds for Ukraine’s defense efforts. 100% of funds from sales go to frontline defenders.
PostArt City offers a range of postal, stationery, bullet journal, and other creative paper products with some “charity” items specifically dedicated to support Ukraine’s efforts.
From UA Postcards, you can purchase a handwritten postcard that comes directly to you – or that you can have sent to someone else – with a message of thanks for your support, from Ukrainian volunteers. The purchase price is more than fair for a donation that contributes to the purchase and delivery of supplies to the front lines, such as bulletproof vests, first aid kits, helmets, drones, vehicles and so much more. You can also purchase a postcard that is sent with a message of support to front line defenders. Again, your purchase buys one hand-written postcard, plus supplies for the front lines.
Support Ukrainian Artists and Cultural Foundations
Postcards from/for Ukraine: in partnership with the NGO “Volunteer Hundred”, Postcards from/for Ukraine is a socio-cultural project that spreads Ukrainian culture around the world. Your postcard purchase(s) help raise funds to supply food to families – a “Dobropak” – and mini-bath hygiene kits and “heater kits” delivered to front line personnel. Works by contemporary Ukrainian artists, illustrators, and photographers are featured on these cards, as well as some historical works shared by various cultural institutions. In this way, Ukrainian artists and foundations are supported through the creation and sharing of their work.
The Ukrainian Institute features artists and film-makers who share their experiences with the world through a project titled “Postcards from Ukraine” that features before/after images of places destroyed since Russia’s invasion. Click here for an article about this work, published in the Huffington Post (Sept. 2022). There is so much more to check out on the Ukrainian Institute’s site!
